First thing. It's a sense of humour, not a scene..

Now the GDE has released a lot of stuff that's been Blammed pretty much instantly here. If I remember right it was you lot who did the Linkin Park video that got Turd of the Week. I've not seen Foamy either. I look through the New Submissions and not the Front Page. So there's not a lot for me to review.

Having said all this this shouldn't have a lot going for my viewing of it. And it's nice that you put the warning up for it. Still. If this is anything to go on, Foamy does enough complaining and doesn't need parodying. It's a bold statement and I'm not sure how the community's going to take it.

Animation's slow and stocky. Sound works and Fuel is a nice ending track to play. Not a lot else though. Keep up the good work...

Not Funny Because of Overuse of the F Word

What is it with purile minds and thier obsession with the F Word? F this and F that.

It would have been funny if it had been animated, and there wasn't as much swearing. I mean, a Mantis complaining about his life with people wanting to eat his head constantly IS a pretty amusing concept.

But it wasn't animated, it was voiced badly, and every other word was Fuck.

Quirky, yet powerful

Now it's not often you see stuff this interesting at Newgrounds. It's not often that something with political, ironic statements make thier way here and are posted seriously and with a sense of bittersweet sardony.

The only thing letting you down was the presentation. It wasn't too impressive on how it was shown - text messages with some animation squiggles are amusing and all, but that's not all there is too it. I'm sure that a serious Rage Against the Machine style music video would have done the treat and got this baby a five from me.

Oh, and his voice repeating gets on my nerves... Sorry.

I Know what you mean but it's part of a live peiece and is one of about 4 things happening so making it in a "video" style would dtract attention, although it will be used (Projected on a 5 storey building) in the background when we do the video clip for it.

Scrapes through because of the statement

Well it's not going to get very good marks from everyone here at the bottom of the Internet's barrel, but it's a powerful statement and you get style for the way you presented it.

But unfortunately it's not animated well enough for people to justifiy it being here. If this stays then it shows that a lot of people here do care about powerful arty pieces like these.

Ever heard of animating?

You've not done Donnie Darko any favours here. The characters were not animated or well drawn at all - bobbing up and down does not make them animated (your movement style could have at least been more Madness like).

The plot was next to non-existant, and it was too slow moving to be a decent music video. The sound quality wasn't good either - when your making a MV, it's got to be frecking high otherwise you've lost the whole point of your submission.

Amusing, But Short

Funny, mostly original, well done and quite well animated and drawn. The only issue I'm thinking of here is that if you submit something every day, you're not going to put the same ammount of effort in to it.

Instead make an omnibus and submit it every week. That's be good.

no i have series i do a week, but this i've designed so its simple and easy to animate, and should only take a few hours a day. its all about being quick and amusing

Very smooth. Well drawn, animated, voiced and delivered. Guess the only downside was the file size for such a short animation, but I'll let that slide.

Tricky.

Well it was fantastically done. But didn't say a lot. I hope this is saved because it's a good example of your skills. But it's just a bit too... odd to be anything more than that.

Still. I liked it enough to vote a 3 on the bar and a 6 here.
