Somehow familiar

Heh. Doing as the instructions state and completely forgetting all the other productions you've done and liberated these shorts from ^_^

You're one of the best frame by frame artists I know Sqeez. This shows just how varied you can make the process, and how much work you've actually done in the past few years. it's a very good showcase video.

Now, let's see something new my scary German friend.

Sqeezy responds:

This review pleases me good. <3 I just feel in love with you.

Average. Shows good potential

It wasn't animated as much as I would have liked, but it shows talent and style. Quite impressed with the rain effect and the monochrome colours. Very artsy, if it wasn't for a lack of animation where there should have been.

Improve and learn, and come back with something fantastic for us

Insanatic responds:

Thanks, I hope that in the future I will be able to put more animation in my work. I agree it definatly could have used more.

Good Display of Skills. Subpar Tutorial

Waiting a minute for the tute to load up and then getting very little on how to actually draw an explosion, and how to create different explosions (like the cluster bomb you had right at the beginning) made me feel shortchanged by this tute.

The buttons had horrid hitboxes as well, and the UI was a bit messy. Other than that though, you draw explosions really well.

Out of all the things you could do wrong Kayn. Giving the wrong review to a movie. YOUR OWN MOVIE. ...gwah.

Very Tarintino

I could see a lot of stereotypical gangland film cliches in this one. A lot of it seemed to be inspired by Quentin Tarintino's films. Still, that's not nessecarily a bad thing.

The drawings were a bit grainy and rushed, and the animation didn't look right in some places, but other than that it's a nice looking frame by frame work, and your sense of timing and storytelling without dialogue is commendable. Keep up the good animation

8-Deadclaw0-8 responds:

im not a fan of dialogue..... not my forte. Yes inspired by Tarintino, mainly Reservoir Dogs.

Average

The animation quality is quite good, and the first one had real feeling in an old guy walking. Drawing style was nice as well.

There was, really, only one ironic segment in it, and that was the guy walking off a cliff, reading a book whose subject was paying attention. The first was ironic, but not very - it would be better for him to have put the book on a high shelf himself, and then get hit with it.

Overall though it was very... slow. It's hard making an old person move quickly, but the actual pacing and timing was off. Work on that one, or give us some music to listen to and keep a beat to

TrueDarkness responds:

alright im cool with that. If i make a second one ill try and make the guy a lil faster. lol. Glad you well liked it a lil ;) and thanks for a construcive criticisim review!

Thanks for putting me in the Thankyou's

I'm putting this one in my favourite submissions box. Remind me to teach you some basic coding to make your fight scenes even better.

Super-Blackball responds:

not a problem :D

Best one so far

I'll complain in real life :p

Super-Blackball responds:

Damn house mates :P

Just Fell Short

Didn't appeal to me because it ended much too quickly. However, you have some skill here. Work on a longer version and tidy up some of the graphics and it'll be diamond.

ZombieToaster responds:

thansk for the comment, i will make it longer in the future.

and i also has a secqeal to make.
