Mirror Shined
Professional, sleek, simple, easy. Could spread like wildfire this. Exactly the thing you want from a casual web browser game, and has enough scoreboard features to keep me interested. You did well with this Chaz.

Thanks alot for the awesome review and score master Slamdyke :)
Exceptional
Okay, only played up to the beginning of the Fallen Star quest but I can see the work that has gone into this game. I'm amazed. Some niggles with the interface and control system (why do I have to jump from cursor keys to ASD? Why does the battle interface need the mouse when the keyboard would be much better?) but I have to say this is one of the most complete RPGs I have ever seen on the Internet.
You should be proud.
I probably am going to change the menus in battle to use the keyboard rather than the mouse in later chapters... I mean, it DOES make more sense that way!
Excellent Style, but demanding graphics
My machine is anything but low tech. 2.6 ghz, P4 with 2GB Ram. And I was still running it on low quality.
Other than that, an excellent defense game. A bit difficult with the menu transitions (too unresponsive), and some obvious preference of graphics over game play, but otherwise worthy of Front Page and a Daily Award for effort and style alone.
Yeah, it is SLOW and It cant be helped, there are simply too many bitmaps on screen :P
And you should not say that it has "obvious preference of graphics over game play" without playing it for a while %)
Aww... I love it... But damn it's length...
It's possibly one of the coolest ideas for a toy in the universe, but with only four screens I felt a bit... empty inside. If you could make the entire city, man that'd be something to play about with.
The vicious humour and the cute animations of the monkeys compound into one exceptionally cool experience. The interactivity it's given really adds to the effect: I wasn't expecting to electrocute the monkey, and it made me laugh out loud when I zapped the poor thing by accident.
So yeah. Larger area to explore, and this is worthy of every acolade known to Newgrounds
thanks. i'll slowly be adding more areas to it. originally i planned a whole city but i haven't gotten that far yet =P
A bit finicky, but good
Yeah. It's a bit tempramental at times to balance the power. But it's all there to make a good game. You can line up a shot whilst the ball's in motion, and that's a major bug.
Great result, and the music's nice. What is it?
heh, thanks man. Not sure what the music is called, It's from the SoundLoops in flashkit
Suggestions
For a great example of a driving engine, you should try find Koala Clock's (Simon McClure's) CAR engine. It floats arround somewhere at clockcrewDotCoDotUkForwardslashSubliminal. You should be able to learn something from that.
Anyhow, a suggestion would be to make the car unable to turn when stationary. Last time I checked, cars didn't have a zero degree turning circle.
Let's see this implemented into a decent game now

hehe. but thats some hard actionscripting to do! xD
Urk. Another One?
It's becomming much, MUCH harder to be original with sound boards. You're going to need to think of a way to be more original with them, rather than just having a list of sounds that you can click on.
It's well constructed for a soundboard however, and the sounds are of a decent quality. Just... try something new.
Calm down. I dont know if there will be a third. It depends on the reviews and that. More original? All soundboards are the same. You click and listen. Its the content that changes. But, still, ill try and do what you've said. I take all constructive critisizm back to the drawing board with me =)
Amusing
As a game maker myself I understand the problems with the dissapearing spawned enemies. It's a problem a lot of us suffer from.
My guess is the spelling is an intentional joke, so I'll let it slide. And apart from the fact it gets old quickly, it's an amusing diversion and a good display of your skills. Not bad for a first submission.
Work hard on the next one
i will, and i quesed i typt to fast, if i have time i'l change it
